One of the oldest hair removing methods of waxing (bioepilation) is extremely popular nowadays. This treatment method is quite effective and does not time or money-taking.

Pros and cons: like all the other hair removing methods, waxing has its advantages and disadvantages. Pros: hair gets thinner and grow slower if you take this therapy regularly. Waxing cannot be used for all the skin types. Hair color does not matter. The effect lasts for about two month and the manipulation cost is not high. Cons: the chance of ingrown hairs and skin irritation.

Preparation and special aspects of the manipulation: you can’t have chemical peeling treatment before waxing. The hairs to be removed must not be longer than 4 mm. Skin steaming is quite undesirable before waxing. The manipulation is quite unpleasant, so, the patients with the low pain limit should apply anesthetic ointment or spray. For better results, waxing is recommended once every 3-4 weeks.

Post-manipulation period: soothing cream or hair growth slowing medicine is recommended immediately after the manipulation. You should avoid sunbaths, contact with water, visits to the sauna or solarium during one day after the manipulation. Light natural textile is recommended during 2 days after the manipulation.
